Prof. Saidiya Hartman, 4th Annual Miranda Joseph Endowed Lecture (April 3-4, 2014)

ImageIn preparation for Prof. Hartman’s visit to the University of Arizona in the spring, the Department of German Studies and the Institute of LGBT Studies are sponsoring a reading group dedicated to Hartman’s decades-long career of scholarship. We will meet each Friday, 2:30-3:30pm in Learning Services Building 346, to discuss one of Hartman’s texts each week, beginning with her 2002 essay “The Time of Slavery”. Contact David Gramling if you’d like to join and receive the weekly reading ahead of time, or just stop by!
